Our Partners
Identifying the Displaced is a collaboration between researchers, practitioners, charities, and volunteers. The project is led by Principal Investigator Dr Maria Maclennan (Lecturer in Jewellery and Silversmithing, Edinburgh College of Art, The University of Edinburgh), alongside international Co-Investigators Dr Jan Bikker (Forensic Athropologist and Human Remains Expert at The Platform for Transnational Forensic Assistance’s Forensic Missing Migrants Initiative) and Professor Pavlos Pavlidis (Forensic Pathologist and Professor of Forensic Medicine at the Laboratory of Forensic Sciences, School of Medicine, Democritus University of Thrace).
The initial phase of the project (2021-2022) is kindly supported by an Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Impact Acceleration Award (Grant Ref: EDI-21/22-P0049) and University of Edinburgh Research and Knowledge Exchange Grant.
We are reliant on the continued financial support and voluntary efforts of our partners and collaborators. If you would like to support the ongoing development of the project, we would be delighted to hear from you.
